The Journal of
Young Researchers
The official student research journal of GYRN — founded by Sharkya STEM Research Club — giving young researchers a place to share original work across Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Neuroscience, Engineering, and more.
Research, written
by students, for students
The GYRN Journal exists so that a first research paper doesn't have to wait for university. It publishes original work by GYRN members — papers built during our 8-week research programs, under mentorship from professors, mentors, and TAs who mirror the university research process.
Every submission is read for rigor, not résumé: clear questions, sound methods, honest limitations. Accepted papers are published openly, field by field, in the index below.
How to get published
Submissions come out of GYRN's research programs and are reviewed by mentors before publication.
